Tomilli Summit Will Bring Together Some of the World’s Most Outstanding Innovations
The international innovation gathering will take place on November 12, 2026, at the Sheraton Grand Dubai and will recognize innovative initiatives from companies, startups, organizations, and professionals around the world.
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Dubai will welcome the 2026 Tomilli Summit on November 12, bringing together innovators from Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania, and the Americas.
The international gathering will showcase ideas and initiatives that are shaping the future of business, technology, design, health, sustainability, and creativity. It will bring together business leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, creatives, and representatives of organizations working on new ways to address challenges across different industries and communities.
Why Dubai?
The decision to hold the Tomilli Summit in Dubai reflects the city’s role as a meeting point for markets, industries, and cultures from around the world.
Dubai’s location between East and West, along with its growing business ecosystem, offers a practical setting for innovators to introduce projects to new markets, connect with potential partners, and meet people from across the global business community.
Mauricio Rodríguez Vargas, CMO of Tomilli, explained why the city was chosen as the venue for the first edition:
“Dubai is a magnet for great opportunities and capital, which merge into an unbeatable fiscal environment.
If you mix this into a universal city, where you find people from all over the planet on every corner, investors, a strategic location between East and West, solid business-oriented infrastructure and great tourism, Dubai is inevitably attractive as a venue for our first edition.”
A global search for innovation
The Tomilli Summit academic team has spent five months reviewing approximately 3,000 initiatives from around the world.
The first stage will result in a Global Shortlist of 300 projects. From there, the team will select 150 of the strongest initiatives for the Golden List, which represents the Summit’s international selection of leading innovations.
Each initiative is reviewed against five main criteria: innovation, impact and relevance, scalability, and evidence of results.
The selection covers eight areas:
- Marketing Innovation
- Advertising Innovation
- Design Innovation
- Fashion Trends
- Business Ideas | Products
- Better World Innovation
- Trend Setters
- Health & Wellness Innovation
The projects being considered cover a wide range of ideas and industries. They include medical devices that connect with smartphones, new materials made from waste, artificial intelligence powered rehabilitation platforms, solutions designed to reduce ocean pollution, and products that explore new ways to connect technology with well being and everyday life.
An international jury will evaluate the finalists
The final stage of the selection process will bring together an international jury made up of leaders connected to global companies, agencies, and organizations. The jury will work alongside the Golden Team, a multidisciplinary community that will help identify the initiatives that stand out during this edition.
Bringing together people with different professional backgrounds allows the projects to be viewed from several angles. Business strategy, creativity, technology, sustainability, design, health, and social impact will all play a role in the final evaluation.
The initiatives selected for the Golden List will receive international visibility and will also become part of the editorial content created around the Tomilli Summit. The official awards for the best initiatives in each category will be announced during the Summit on November 12 in Dubai.
More than recognition
The Tomilli Summit is designed to do more than recognize innovative projects.
The event aims to create opportunities for innovators to meet business leaders, potential partners, media representatives, and professionals from different industries.
The selection is open to initiatives from established companies, startups, small and medium sized businesses, non profit organizations, academic institutions, and public entities.
This broad approach reflects one of the Summit’s core ideas: innovation is not limited to large companies or a particular country. New ideas can come from organizations of any size and from almost anywhere in the world.
