This 14-Year-Old Founder Runs an AI Startup from Dubai’s Burj Khalifa

While most teenagers are still deciding what they want to do after school, 14-year-old Jainam Jain is already building an AI startup from one of the world’s most iconic business addresses.

The young entrepreneur runs Mengo Engine, an AI startup with an office on the 141st floor of Dubai’s Burj Khalifa.

The company is developing an AI platform that helps businesses automate marketing, sales, content creation, customer engagement, newsletters, websites, lead nurturing, and other business operations. The product is currently in beta, with around 100 businesses already on its waiting list.

How Jainam Jain Built Mengo Engine After Finishing School at 13

Jainam was born in Pune before moving to Dubai with his family at the age of five. He says his parents encouraged both him and his younger sister to take on ambitious challenges and learn from failure rather than fear it.

His entrepreneurial journey began long before artificial intelligence. At the age of seven, he and his sister launched a YouTube channel that quickly crossed 100,000 subscribers.

The siblings later traveled across Maharashtra, delivering more than 120 motivational sessions in just 50 days at schools, colleges, NGOs, and organizations, sharing lessons on entrepreneurship and personal development.

At 12, Jainam began exploring whether he could complete school early. Through the Cambridge pathway, he finished Grade 10 at just 13 after preparing for the examinations in a little over 100 days. Rather than following a traditional academic path, he turned his attention to building an AI company.

What Mengo Engine Does and Why It Chose Dubai

That decision led to the launch of Mengo Engine.

The platform is designed as an AI co founder for businesses, allowing companies to manage multiple business functions from a single AI powered profile. According to Jainam, he built the product after teaching himself AI through experimentation and YouTube instead of taking formal AI courses.

Although the startup remains in beta, it has already attracted interest from around 100 businesses. Because of his age, Jainam’s father officially serves as co founder, while Jainam says he leads product development and day to day operations.

Dubai became the natural base for the company as it looks beyond regional markets. Operating from the Burj Khalifa places the startup close to international businesses, investors, and technology partners while strengthening its global ambitions.

What Jainam Jain’s Journey Means for the UAE Startup Ecosystem

Jainam’s story reflects a broader trend taking shape across the UAE’s technology ecosystem. As artificial intelligence lowers the barriers to building software products, younger entrepreneurs are entering the startup world earlier than ever before.

For Dubai, stories like this reinforce the city’s growing reputation as a destination where founders from around the world choose to build, scale, and expand their businesses.

Whether Mengo Engine becomes a major AI company remains to be seen. But at just 14 years old, Jainam Jain has already achieved something few founders can claim: building a global AI startup with Dubai at the center of its growth strategy.
