Google has officially rolled out Veo 3, its advanced AI video generation model, to users across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The tool is now available through the Gemini app for Google AI Pro subscribers in the region, with a free one-month trial offered to new users.
Veo 3 was first introduced in May 2024 at Google’s annual developer event, Google I/O. The model represents a significant leap in generative video capabilities, allowing users to produce short, high-quality videos directly from simple text prompts. With the MENA launch, Google brings this cutting-edge functionality to creators, marketers, and storytellers across the region.
Integrated into the Gemini app, Veo 3 enables the creation of eight-second videos in 720p resolution. Users can enter a written prompt, and the AI generates a complete video with dynamic visuals, ambient sound, dialogue, and background music. The tool requires no video editing experience and is aimed at making visual content creation more accessible.
For MENA users, the rollout of Veo 3 opens up new possibilities in digital storytelling, social media content creation, education, and marketing.
It allows creators in the region to experiment with AI-driven storytelling while saving time and resources on production. With support for sound and native audio generation, Veo 3 can produce fully-formed video segments that are ready to share or refine.
Google has also built responsible AI safeguards into the tool. All content created using Veo 3 is automatically embedded with a SynthID watermark—Google’s technology for tagging AI-generated media. A visible watermark will appear on most Veo 3 content, except for videos made using Flow, a more advanced AI filmmaking tool available to Ultra members.
The rollout is part of Google’s broader push to expand its AI product ecosystem in the MENA region, offering creators and businesses early access to the latest in generative technology through the Gemini platform.
